Stephen Nahigian DDS - Oral Surgeon
Dr. Nahigian is a Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He
completed his undergraduate education at the UCLA in 1979 and then joined
the USC where he had a distinguished academic career. Dr. Nahigian received
many awards including the USC School of Dentistry scholarship award, the
Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology Award, the American dental
Association graduation award, and he was elected to membership in Omicron
Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
Immediately after receiving his dental degree he entered the three year
residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the Los Angeles
County University of Southern California Medical Center. He received his
specialty certificate in 1982. Dr. Nahigian has successfully placed
thousands of dental implants and he has over 24 years of experience in Oral
Surgery.
He also has a general anesthesia license which enables him to offer
treatment while patients are sleeping. “Sleep dentistry” is the solution for
patients that have fear or concern regarding dental treatment. Extensive
cosmetic or reconstructive procedures can be done while patients are
sleeping that would otherwise entail lengthy dental appointments.
