On February 4, 2007 Dr. Shant participated in a
terrific program called GIVE KIDS A
SMILE. The program was designed to
treat those kids who are falling through the cracks and never have a
chance at receiving dental care. This was A.D.A.'s National Give Kids A Smile day & it was quite
a success. Along with some other colleagues like Dr. Joseph Sciarra, who
hosted this event in his Woodland Hills office, these fine dentist were
able to treat 25 kids doing over $6,000.00 of FREE dentistry.
Kids from all over the Los Angeles area were able to be treated. The
response and the reward was overwhelming. Good Day L.A. covered this
wonderful event and featured the generosity of these Dentist on Fox 11.
This indeed was a great day! The message being sent is so strong. There
are kids out there that DO NOT have access to any dental care!
Dr. Shant plans to participate in this event every year. It brought
me great joy to be asked to participate in this wonderful event.
